Right click on electrum-[version].exe
and select Create shortcut
Click Yes
in response to the prompt: Windows can't create a shortcut here. Do you want the shortcut to be placed on the desktop instead?
Create a copy of the shortcut by copying it and pasting it back onto the desktop.
Right-click on either shortcut and select Properties
Select the Shortcut
tab and click in the text-field labeled Target
electrum-[version].exe
Append a space and the following to the end of the existing contents:
-1 -s [mynode-onion-url]:50002:s -p socks5:localhost:9150
Target
field should now look similar to:
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Electrum\electrum-4.0.2.exe” -1 -s kvrj7p77kyxgsw6mvqduvt74eckvrj7p77kyxgsw6mvqduvt74ec.onion:50002:s -p socks5:localhost:9150
Select the General
tab and click in the box towards the top, next to the icon
Change the contents of the text-field to rename the shortcut to something that would indicate to you that this shortcut launches a version of Electrum Wallet that is linked to your myNode, perhaps Electrum Wallet - myNode
Click Apply
and Ok
Confirm this is the case:
